Dearest citizens of Virbland-

It's been a few weeks since I posted. I didn't call, I didn't write and I even forgot to send flowers. I'm sorry for that. Can I at least tell you why?? I'm sure you'll understand...

Just over 7 months ago, we released Virb as a private beta. During that beta period we were still quite busy developing the site but you were already giving us feedback, ideas and all that good stuff. Then, in March, we kicked the doors wide open and let everyone come in to play.

Now, here we sit, 4 months later... Things are going great! The community is growing and the buzz is everywhere. Yet at the same time we've had many sleepless nights to come to grips with things we aren't too keen on. Things we would have done differently (and better) if we could. You know what I mean, right?

With all that said and my foreword penned, I'll let you in on a secret. VIRB is changing - in a big way!! We are taking what is already great and making it even better. If something is already awesome, it will become something even awesomer (yeah, not a word, I know). If there is a place we feel Virb is lacking we are going to fix it. We understand that Virb is only one piece of your Internet world and we're taking that to heart. If you post videos, photos or blogs elsewhere you shouldn't have to think about how to get those on your Virb profile - or how to let your Virb friends know you've done so. It's ideas just like this that are bringing about these changes. It's great stuff, I give you my word.

So this place I call The Virb Blog will have a bit of a new purpose while we build the new empire. Rather than news about bug fixes, modules and tips, you'll likely find things on the lighter side: videos and chats with the Virbland team, upcoming peeks at the new Virb, opportunities for your feedback and probably some things that are so cool I don't even know about them yet.

Blah, blah, blah. I could go on and on, but I'll stop now. It's your turn to talk! Comments? Thoughts? What do you like most (and least) about Virb? I wanna know. So c'mon. Put on that favorite argyle sweater and come curl up by the fireplace. We're listening. Good things lie ahead!

Oh, I almost forgot! A few answers for those of you that have emailed me recently.
